The next Summit church campus is underway! This one is in the sweet town of Mebane, NC, which is dear to my heart because it’s where my husband grew up and his family reside. With every Summit campus, it is important to the church to maintain their Summit identity but to let each campus take on a little character of the town and its congregation. Mebane is a friendly small town with the convenience of big cities like Raleigh and Durham nearby. Founded in 1886 with the establishment of the White Furniture Company, the town of Mebane has held on to many of its historic buildings and revitalized them as trendy coffee shops, upscale boutiques, and lofty condominiums. Along with these modern day amenities, Mebane is home for many because of its open fields and farms. And it is this blend of city and country that is the design inspiration for the 60,000 square foot Mebane campus.
